ICC ( Internal Complaints Committee) meeting under POSH Act was held on 8.2.24 to orient and introduce students to anti-sexual harassment cell and its functioning in college .
To ensure the well-being of students and staff, compliance with the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) guidelines has become crucial for higher education institutions in India. POSH compliance provides essential insights for educational institutions to foster a safe and supportive environment for all. The college committee formed under this Act provides protection against Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace and for the prevention and redressal of complaints of sexual harassment . This helps to promote a culture of respect and gender equality.
